Thousands of people joined others nationwide and marched through the streets of Kansas City to protest the inauguration of Donald Trump. As a photographer, I have shot many of these protests. The more I photograph, the more I become interested in the event as theater with participants finding their role to play. I also find that this notion is lost on the youngest of the crowd.
