My photographic muses are usually locations, places that inspire me. I have found in my career that I love to tell the story of a place. It matters not if it is a town, a neighborhood or a house. My most recent inspiration has come from Kansas City, Ks.
Kansas City, Mo. is the larger of the two cities. It is the place tourists visit and where money is made and spent. Kansas City, Ks. on the other hand is the smaller, struggling, more depressed of the two and that, to me is far more interesting. I have been spending time there photographing the streets and the people. I hope to make a more ambitious project of the city in the future. These photos are just scratching the surface.
